Job summary

Tecore Networks invites applications for a Field Service Engineer to support deployment of Tecore products across diverse environments, from rural LTE sites to secure facilities. The role combines field installation with ongoing modernization work from our Hanover, MD HQ.

Responsibilities include site surveys, equipment installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and training. Travel will be frequent (50–80%), with potential overnight stays and a mix of indoor/outdoor work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 1–3 years in a telecommunications discipline.
• Ability to obtain Security Clearance.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and coordinate installation/reconfiguration of hardware and software for data/voice networks.
• Travel to customer sites for pre-deployment surveys, installation, and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot technical problems within customer guidelines.
• Provide operation and maintenance training as required.
• Support customer operations and system administrator personnel.
• Travel 50-80% as needed; work inside/outside; possible overnight stays.
