Job summary

Shyft Global Services, a TD SYNNEX Company, is seeking Field Service Engineers to support digital pathology systems in clinical environments in the Memphis metro area. You will install, service, calibrate, and troubleshoot advanced medical instrumentation while maintaining strong customer relationships and compliance.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of field service experience in medical devices, with strong PC, networking, and instrument handling skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–3 years of field service or technical support experience in medical devices and laboratory automation.
• Proficiency with PC hardware, Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and basic networking (TCP/IP, VPN).
• Hands-on experience with robotic systems, laboratory instruments, and service documentation processes.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work evenings, weekends, and on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Perform Preventive & Corrective Maintenance on digital scanners and related hardware, documenting activities.
• Lead site installations and configurations, including networking and LIS integration.
• Respond to on-site service calls to minimize downtime and troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Maintain service reports, work orders, calibration records in our CRM, and manage tools, parts, and inventory.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff and clinical engineers to ensure customer satisfaction.
