Job summary

Eastman in Kingsport, Tennessee, seeks a Technical Service Representative for the Biodegradables Technology Division to support customers with material conversion technology. You will work on profile extrusion, foamed sheet extrusion, thermoforming, and injection molding projects, collaborating across Sales, Technology and Quality Assurance to deliver value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is required.
• >5 years’ experience in injection molding and extrusion, with biodegradable materials.
• Willing to travel >50%.
• Strong relationships with convertors in biodegradable markets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Promote customer trials and evaluations.
• Understand the customer’s demands and challenges.
• Help develop technical information for customer engagement.
• Collaborate with Sales, Technology and QA to implement technical strategies.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers and industry associations.
• Represent Eastman at conferences, trade shows, and technical forums.
