Eastman Chemical Company seeks a Technical Service Representative for Kingsport, TN, supporting biodegradables technology. You will assist customer trials, develop technical content, and collaborate with Sales, Technology, and QA to drive product value.

A technical degree and 5+ years in conversion tech are required. The role requires substantial travel (>50%), industry knowledge of biodegradable materials, and building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required.
• >5 years' experience in injection molding, extrusion and other conversion technologies, particularly in biodegradable materials.
• >50% travel anticipated.

Responsabilités

• Promote customer trials and evaluations.
• Understand the customer's demands and challenges.
• Help develop technical information for customer engagement.
• Knowledgeable about industry relevant secondary operations.
• Partner with Product Development team to deliver products that a market needs and that will bring value to Eastman.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement technical strategies and solutions.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in feed technology, and share relevant information with internal teams and customers.
• Collect and analyze customer feedback and market insights to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation.
• Provide technical content for product presentations, leaflets and brochures to support sales and create papers and posters for technical forums.
• Act as a technical advisor to the sales team, and assist with customer inquiries, product positioning, and market development.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and industry associations.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and technical forums.
