Job summary

ArchKey Solutions LLC is seeking an Associate Project Manager for electrical construction with nationwide travel. This site-based role supports large projects across the USA, coordinating with General Contractors, Subcontractors, Superintendents, and Foremen to keep budgets and schedules on track.

The ideal candidate has a degree in a relevant field and up to one year of construction experience, strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills, and willingness to relocate temporarily

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 0–1 year of construction and/or project experience OR knowledge of construction methods.
• Project Managed training, experience or skills with a general understanding of a project lifecycle.
• Strong process orientation, analytical and mathematical skills.
• Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Outstanding interpersonal and team leadership skills.
• Must possess strong attention to detail and ensure maximum quality of work throughout the lifecycle of the project.
• Must be willing to travel to and potentially temporarily relocate to project locations.
• Experience with Accubid a plus.
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in total construction and design effort to ensure project is constructed per design, budget, and schedule.
• Coordinate communication between internal and external project team members, including General Contractors and Subcontractors.
• Assist in staff approvals for project staffing, e.g., superintendents and foremen.
• Perform specialized estimating and assist in estimating projects.
• Assist the Project Manager with purchase requisitions, payment approvals, and change orders.
• Assist in implementing and interpreting safety programs; ensure OSHA requirements are met.
