American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for a 13-week travel assignment at a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital in Texas. The role requires an Associate degree and 1–2 years of outpatient or acute care experience.

Responsibilities include treating both inpatients and outpatients in a Level IV trauma facility, with a day shift from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Biosafety and dress code are in place; travel benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required for PTA practice.
• Current Texas PTA license required if applicable.
• Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) required upon hire and must be maintained.
• Minimum 1–2 years of outpatient or acute care experience.
• DOB and SSN required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• 13-week travel assignment on the Physical Therapy unit.
• Day shift schedule, 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
• Serves both inpatients and outpatients at a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital.
• Facility includes Swing Beds, ICU, Med/Surg, Orthopedics, and Cardiac Cath Lab units.
• Level IV trauma ER setting.
• May treat COVID-positive patients.
• Weekend and holiday coverage per department needs.
• Work in a Level IV trauma Critical Access Hospital setting.
