Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a 13-week hospital assignment with inpatient rehab or acute care experience. The role runs 40 hours weekly, typically Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with every other weekend and one holiday as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year inpatient rehab or acute care PT experience required.
• PT license and state licensure active.
• BLS certification required.
• First Aid certification preferred.
• Crisis Prevention Training within 6 months of hire.
• Primary Source Online Verification required.
• Two supervisor references preferred from last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Physical Therapy position.
• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• 8-hour day shifts.
• Every other weekend availability required (typically one weekend per month).
• Must be available to work one holiday if needed.
• Serve as part of an interdisciplinary team providing comprehensive physical therapy services.
• Perform detailed clinical assessments based on patient needs following physician referral.
• Develop comprehensive, age-appropriate plans of care based on evaluation findings.
• Accurately document patient treatment.
• Respond effectively to new and changing work assignments.
• Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility; no local candidates accepted.
