Responsibilities

• Work in the Outpatient Therapy department of a 265-bed regional referral center.
• Treat a patient population including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
• Day shift schedule with 10-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Occasional Saturday coverage may be required in in-patient rehab or acute care at the main hospital.
• No on-call requirements.
• Compact license not accepted.
• Perform selected physical therapy procedures and related tasks under the direction and supervision of a registered Physical Therapist.
• Treat patients with modalities and exercise in accordance with medical needs and approved treatment plans.
• Assist in maintaining the therapy department in a neat and orderly manner.
• Local candidates within a certain radius may be considered at a reduced rate.
• Former direct employees of the facility are not eligible to return through an agency until after 6 months from their previous direct employment.
• Maximum of 5 days of requested time off (RTO) during the assignment.
