Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an 8-week assignment in Richmond, Virginia. The PT will evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for diverse patient populations in the acute care setting.

Requirements include at least 6 months of experience (1 year preferred), BLS, and state licensing. The role involves supervising PTAs and collaborating with Medical Center staff to implement a team-oriented plan of care, with 32 hours per week and 8-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• BLS and state-specific licensing are required.
• PT should be able to stand/walk long periods and understand anatomy and medical terminology.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff.
• Bill within the respective setting following guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel to ensure a team-based plan of care.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care and modify as indicated.
• Use Medical Center computer systems and document per guidelines.
