Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an immediate travel opening in Purcellville, VA. The PT will evaluate and treat patients in the acute care setting, developing and executing a plan of care while coordinating with the care team.

Candidates should have at least 6 months of PT experience (1 year preferred), BLS, and state-specific licensing. The position spans 13 weeks, with 40 hours per week and rotating 8-hour shifts; travel experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of PT experience; 1 year preferred.
• BLS certification and state-specific licensing required.
• Ability to evaluate and implement plans of care in acute care.
• Experience supervising PTAs and documenting care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop, and execute plans of care for diverse patients in acute care.
• Oversee PTAs and therapy staff; ensure proper documentation.
• Bill within the setting and comply with state regulations.
• Collaborate with medical center staff to coordinate care.
