TotalMed Allied is seeking a Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Suffolk, Virginia. The PT will evaluate, develop, and implement a plan of care for diverse patient populations in the acute care setting, with responsibilities including supervising PTAs, billing, and collaborating with medical staff.

Candidates should have at least 6 months of experience (6 months acceptable for exceptional candidates), BLS, and state licensing.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.
• PTs must be able to stand/walk for long periods and have knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Responsabilités

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians).
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines.
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care.
• Evaluate and create a plan of care and modify as indicated by patient condition.
• Use Medical Center computer systems for daily tasks and document per guidelines.
