Responsibilities

• Outpatient/rehabilitation clinic setting.
• Day shift schedule, 8 hours/day, 5 days/week or possible 4x10 schedule.
• Supervises PT Assistants and Aides regarding patient care.
• Evaluate and treat patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation programs.
• Utilize EMR to complete evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries.
• Guide and monitor patient care through all aspects of treatment and follow-up.
• Communicate with physicians and staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient chart documentation and follow-up on prescriptions, test results, and authorizations.
• Work closely with front office staff on scheduling and patient follow-up.
• Responsible for following HIPAA policies and procedures.
• Familiarity with PT billing policies including Medicare, work-comp, private, auto, liens, and cash pay.
• Proficient in DX and ICD-10 coding for billing of services.
