American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for outpatient care in Hermann, Missouri. The position requires 1+ year of outpatient PT experience and BLS certification.

The role involves evaluating and treating patients with orthopedic, neurologic and cardiac diagnoses, developing home exercise programs, and educating patients and families. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional hospital coverage and no weekend duties.

Qualifications

• 1+ year outpatient PT experience is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• State license is required if applicable.
• Experience with home exercise program development and patient education

Responsabilités

• Outpatient PT with occasional acute care coverage in hospital when outpatient volume is low.
• Treat patients with orthopedic, neurologic, and cardiac diagnoses.
• Manage conditions including cervicalgia, low back pain, post-op cervical/shoulder/spinal surgery, total hip and knee replacement, cognitive disorders, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson's disease, post-stroke rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury.
• Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; no weekends
• Local candidates within 50 miles are considered
