Job summary

Clear Concepts, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role based in Bloomington, IN and surrounding areas. The job includes blood draws, labeling specimens, and following established procedures with a view to permanent placement after three months.

Work hours are 8am–5pm, Monday through Friday. You will float to multiple sites; mileage is paid. A valid phlebotomy certification, at least 6 months venipuncture experience, pediatric experience, and High School diploma or GED are required;

Qualifications

• Valid phlebotomy certification for the state of employment.
• Minimum 6 months venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures and explains venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Matches laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes and ensures correct labeling and transport packaging.
• Adheres to OSHA and DEP regulations and attends annual department trainings.
