Your Talent Team is seeking a Phlebotomist at 6130 for a contract role based in Bloomington, IN, with the possibility of permanent placement. You will float to Bloomington and nearby locations, performing essential phlebotomy duties while ensuring accuracy and patient care.

Expect 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday, with a duration of 3 months plus potential for perm. Mileage is reimbursed; some benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed as required in some states.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsabilités

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures and transports them as required.
• Explain the venipuncture process clearly to patients and demonstrate technique using straight or butterfly needles.
• Ensure specimens are packaged, stored, and labeled correctly and compliant with OSHA and DEP regulations.
