Zaddy Solutions in Bloomington, IN is seeking a phlebotomist for a 3-month contract with potential to go permanent. The role requires performing blood draws, labeling, and specimen handling in a fast-paced lab environment, with travel to specified sites.

Responsibilities include venipuncture technique, accurate specimen handling, and compliance with OSHA regulations. A valid phlebotomy certification and at least 6 months of experience are required, along with a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilités

• Experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information.
• Collects and stores specimens according to established procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously.
• Demonstrate technique with straight or butterfly needles.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure specimen integrity.
