TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Baltimore, MD. This travel assignment focuses on patient care in a PCU/step-down setting, requiring 1–2 years of acute care experience and active BLS/ACLS/NIH certifications. Start date 10/13/2026 for 13 weeks, 36 hours/week, 12-hour nights.

Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS and NIH certifications required.
• 2 years of recent acute care experience required.
• 1-2 years PCU/acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications.
• Monitor and interpret equipment, adjusting as needed.
• Initiate corrective actions based on monitoring data.
