Job summary

TotalMed RN seeks a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Travel Nurse in Baltimore, MD, for a 13-week assignment. Start date 10/13/2026, 36 hours per week, nights, in a 12-hour shift, travel employment. Requires 1-2 years of acute care experience and PCU/step-down proficiency.

Will monitor cardiac patients, administer meds, and manage IVs in a fast-paced PCU environment. The RN will use monitors, perform bedside care, and respond to changes in patient status.

Qualifications

• BLS, ACLS, NIH certifications required.
• 1-2 years recent acute care experience preferred.
• PCU/step-down experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications and report adverse reactions.
• Monitor and interpret monitoring equipment and document vital signs.
• Initiate corrective actions based on monitoring data.
