TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for a PCU – Progressive Care Unit assignment in Baltimore, MD. This 13-week travel role requires 36 hours per week on a rotating 12-hour shift with a focus on close patient monitoring and prompt clinical interventions.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, and active RN licensure. The role involves handling IVs, dressings, medications, and telemetry monitoring in a fast-paced PCU setting.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• RN licensure in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Monitor and titrate medications and IV therapy as prescribed.
• Operate and interpret monitoring equipment and vital signs displays.
• Respond to changes in patient condition and escalate as needed.
