MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Washington, DC. The assignment is for 13 weeks, starting 09/28/2026, with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift.

The ideal candidate holds an Active RN license with a degree from an accredited nursing program, and BLS & ACLS certifications, plus 18 months of Acute Care PCU/Step-down experience. Travel assignments offer housing options, benefits, and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• 18 months of recent Acute Care PCU/Step-down experience.
• BLS & ACLS certifications are required.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients requiring close monitoring in PCU/Step-down.
• Utilize monitor equipment and respond to changes in vital signs to prevent emergencies.
