Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Glen Burnie, Maryland. The PCU Travel Nurse will provide bedside care, monitor cardiac patients, and respond to changes in patient conditions while coordinating care across the healthcare team.

This assignment runs for 12 weeks with 36 hours per week on day shifts. Applicants should have 1–2 years of acute care experience and hold ACLS/BLS certificates; NIH and CPI are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience required.
• Certification in ACLS, BLS, NIH, and CPI preferred.
• Travel RN with PCU/stepdown experience welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Perform IV starts, catheter insertions, and dressings.
• Administer meds and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Interpret and record patient vital signs and monitor equipment.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition.
