Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Intermediate Care for a travel nursing job in Springfield, Massachusetts. The PCU RN will care for patients needing close monitoring and frequent assessment, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• PCU/step-down experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare, administer, and document prescribed medications.
• Monitor patients and interpret electronic monitoring displays.
• Respond to adverse events and initiate corrective actions.
