Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care PCU/Step-down setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by client facility.

Responsibilities

• PCU nurses monitor cardiac and other vital signs and provide frequent assessments.
• Care for patients requiring close monitoring but not ICU-level care.
• Utilize monitors and algorithms to detect changes and trigger interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure patient safety and timely care.
