Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Dayton, Ohio. This 13-week travel assignment requires 48 hours per week with nights on a 12-hour shift in the PCU setting.

Qualifications include an active RN license, degree from an accredited program, BLS, and 18 months of recent Acute Care PCU/Step-down experience. Benefits include weekly pay, private housing or housing allowance, health and life insurance, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Active RN License.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS Certification.
• Eighteen months of recent Acute Care PCU/Step-down experience.
• Other requirements to be determined by client facility.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs, signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes; use nursing process to plan and evaluate care.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data; document nursing diagnoses.
• Document plan of care with expected outcomes and interventions.
• Initiate and evaluate patient and/or family education.
• Revise and document the plan of care as needed.
