Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel PCU RN for a 13-week assignment in Omaha, Nebraska. The role pays based on 36 hours per week with night shifts (12 hours) and requires a travel job setup.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of recent acute care experience and holds ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications. You will monitor cardiac patients in PCU, interpret telemetry, and administer medications as part of a high‑acuity team.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years acute care experience in PCU or similar
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• NIH certification or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Care for PCU patients needing close monitoring and frequent assessment
• Monitor cardiac and other vitals using telemetry equipment
• Administer and titrate prescribed medications; observe for adverse reactions
• Provide bedside care and assist with IVs, dressings, and catheter insertions
