Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Omaha, Nebraska. This PCU RN role requires acute care experience and certifications, with 36 hours per week on a 13-week assignment and nights, 12-hour shifts.

You will monitor cardiac patients, manage medications, and collaborate with a traveling team to ensure safe patient care. Ideal candidates have ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications and 2 years of RN experience, and are prepared for a fast-paced cardiac stepdown

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for PCU patients requiring close monitoring.
• Monitor telemetry and vital signs; respond to changes promptly.
• Administer medications, start IVs, and document treatments.
• Support patient and family education and safety.
