Job summary

Rodeo Dental & Orthodontics is seeking an Orthodontic Dental Assistant to support the orthodontic team across multiple Colorado locations. You will assist the orthodontist, prepare trays, capture X-rays, and fabricate retainers and impressions while maintaining high patient care and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have Orthodontic DA experience, a valid DA certificate, and a willingness to travel between clinics.

Qualifications

• Orthodontic DA experience required.
• Spanish language preferred.
• Willing to support multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Orthodontist in treating patient.
• Instruct patient of elastic treatment.
• Preparing tray set-ups according to doctor preferences and planned procedures.
• Taking diagnostic quality X-Rays and attaching them to the patient chart.
• Mixing amalgam, cement, and preparing impression materials.
• Pouring, trimming, and polishing impression trays.
• Assisting with bonding, banding, adjusting, and debonding orthodontic patients.
• Placing and cementing bands.
• Setting up orthodontic brackets and removing excess cement from brackets and bands.
• Making retainers, bleaching trays, and impressions.
• Providing excellent chairside assistance and anticipating next steps to stay in sync with the doctor.
• Taking patient initial, progress, and de-bond photos.
• Taking scans of patients for clear aligners or models.
• Travel to our CO locations.

• Assist with Orthodontist in treating patient
