Job summary

Ragnar Benson Construction, a MasTec Company, seeks a Construction Project Manager to lead mid-to-large civil, rail, data center, commercial and industrial construction projects across the United States from pre-construction to completion.

The PM will oversee safety, budgeting, scheduling, contract administration, and coordination with executives, operations, and clients to ensure quality and integrity. On-site travel with a two-week rotation is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related major; combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
• Minimum 5 years of construction industry experience/knowledge of construction techniques, estimating and construction management
• Experience with mid to large scale civil, rail, data center, commercial building or industrial construction projects
• Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical construction, including heavy industrial piping and equipment, and conveyance systems

Responsibilities

• Manage field operations and contract administration including safety, personnel, subcontract scheduling, material and equipment procurement and schedule
• Safety planning will play a critical role in all planning and field operations activities
• Contract management including change orders, scope changes, field conditions, and bid methods
• Create and manage budgets
• Manage Subcontractor and Vendor relationships and mitigate risk and cost overruns
