Job summary

Ragnar Benson Construction, LLC seeks a Construction Project Manager to oversee mid to large scale civil, rail, data center, commercial, and industrial projects across the United States. You’ll drive scheduling, budgeting, safety, and client coordination from pre-construction to completion.

You will coordinate with executives, operations, and clients to uphold Ragnar Benson’s standards of quality, safety, and integrity, with on-site travel and the potential to be placed on various sites

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of construction industry experience/knowledge of construction techniques, estimating and management.
• Experience on mid to large scale civil, rail, data center, commercial or industrial projects.
• Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical construction including heavy piping, equipment, and conveyance systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage field operations and contract administration including safety, personnel, subcontract scheduling, material and equipment procurement and schedule.
• Safety planning is a critical part of planning and field operations.
• Contract management including change orders, scope changes, field conditions, and performance methods.
• Create and manage project budgets and cost control.
• Manage Subcontractor and Vendor relationships and mitigate risk and cost overruns.
• Plan equipment types, personnel, and means/methods and update schedules.
• Maintain accurate cost accounting, schedule impacts, and change order logs.
