Job summary

Ragnar Benson Construction, a MasTec Company, is seeking Field Engineers to support passenger and heavy rail construction, data centers, and commercial building projects nationwide. The role involves project planning, scheduling, quality control, and coordinating field operations with experienced professionals.

You will travel on-site for two weeks with a four-day home rotation, with a designated per diem of $1,020 per week plus base pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Civil Engineers, Construction Management, or related field preferred). A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. both now and in the future without company sponsorship.
• We are a drug free work environment based on Federal guidelines and use E-Verify to confirm employment eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Preparing scheduling of subcontractors on site
• Receiving and checking quality of materials
• Completing QA/QC checklists
• Submittals (material approvals)
• RFI’s (general questions)
• Preparing official documents for the project, routing and finalizing
• Preparing projects reports as needed
• Back up documentation
• Close-outs final quantities
• Proposing/ negotiation extra work
• Special projects within the Project Management function as necessary
• Other duties as assigned by the Project Management Department
