Ragnar Benson Construction is seeking a Project Manager to lead field operations on mid-to-large civil, rail, data center and industrial projects across the United States.

You will manage safety, scheduling, budgets, and subcontractor relationships, while coordinating with executives, operations, and clients to meet quality and cost targets. This role requires on-site travel and a driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (or combination of education and experience).
• Minimum 5 years of construction industry experience/knowledge of techniques, estimating and construction management.
• Experience with mid to large scale civil, rail, data center, commercial building or industrial projects.

Responsabilités

• Manage field operations and contract administration including safety, personnel, subcontract scheduling, material and equipment procurement and schedule.
• Safety planning will play a critical role in all planning and field operations activities.
• Contract management including changes in scope, conditions, and means and methods.
• Creating and managing budgets.
• Managing Subcontractor and Vendor relationships to identify and mitigate risk and cost overruns.
• Plan equipment types, personnel skill sets, means, methods, and update schedules.
• Maintain accurate cost accounting, schedule impacts, change order logs, and communications logs.
• Submit monthly cost-to-complete projections.
• Manage contract value affected by weather, conditions, and change orders; ensure quantities are accurate.
• Weekly quantities reported and compiled in Viewpoint; budget changes updated weekly.
• All change orders reconciled every 30 days with customers and vendors.
• Change order log updated to reflect current contract amount.
• Purchased order costs tracked and recorded.
• Other duties as assigned.
