Job summary

Ragnar Benson Construction, a MasTec Company, seeks a Project Manager to lead mid to large scale civil, rail, data center, commercial building and industrial projects across the United States. You will manage projects from pre-construction to completion, ensuring schedule and budget adherence while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires on-site travel with two weeks on-site and four days home rotation, plus per diem and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field; combined edu/experience acceptable
• Minimum 5 years of construction industry experience and knowledge of techniques, estimating and construction management
• Experience on mid to large scale civil, rail, data center, commercial or industrial projects
• Knowledge of heavy industrial piping, equipment, and conveyance systems
• Proficiency with project management tools (Procore, Build2Win, MS Project, P6, HCSS)

Responsibilities

• Manage field operations and contract administration including safety, personnel, subcontract scheduling, material and equipment procurement and schedule
• Safety planning is a critical component of all planning and field operations
• Contract management including changes in scope, field conditions and bid methods
• Create and manage project budgets and cost control
• Manage subcontractor and vendor relationships and mitigate cost risk
• Plan equipment types, personnel, skills, means and methods
• Maintain accurate cost accounting, schedule impacts, change orders and communications logs
• Submit monthly cost-to-complete projections
• Manage contract value considering weather, changes, and quantities
• Prepare weekly reporting of quantities and schedule updates
• Record and reconcile change orders and PO costs every 30 days
• Coordinate changes with customers and vendors
• Cover additional duties as assigned
