American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an Occupational Therapist for our Inpatient Rehabilitation unit. Hospital experience is required, with the ability to float between inpatient and outpatient care.

The role involves day shifts (8:00 AM–4:30 PM), patient evaluations, plans of care, and supervision of assistants. Local candidates within 50 miles are considered at local pay rates; returning staff must observe a 1-year separation before traveling again.

Formación

• Current OT license required if applicable
• BLS certification required
• Hand certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program, or equivalent experience accepted

Responsabilidades

• Inpatient Rehabilitation unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Ability to float between outpatient and inpatient care required
• Plan, organize, and conduct occupational therapy programs for patients impaired by illness, injury, or psychological/developmental conditions
• Complete patient evaluations, develop and update plans of care, and provide ongoing treatment per established standards
• Provide clinical supervision to assistants or aides and may serve as a clinical instructor for students
• Maintain accurate documentation, charge capture, and compliance with regulatory and facility requirements
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain a clean, safe working environment
• Local candidates accepted at local rate within a 50-mile radius
• Returning staff must have a separation period of at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday request permitted per contract
