American Traveler, LLC is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a long-term assignment offering inpatient and/or outpatient care. New grads are welcome to apply, with 2+ years of experience preferred and NBCOT OTR/L certification required.

License and BLS certification are prerequisites, along with a valid driver's license and a commitment to high-quality patient care. The role involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, educating patients, and supervising OTAs as needed.

Qualifications

• Current state OT license required, if applicable.
• NBCOT OTR/L certification required.
• BLS certification through AHA required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.
• New grads welcome; 2+ years of experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Outreach Therapy/Outpatient Clinic setting.
• Inpatient and/or outpatient experience required.
• AM shift, 5x8s, 40 hours per week.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Evaluate and treat patients in compliance with licensure standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team on care planning, goal setting, and discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families on treatment procedures, assistive devices, and home programs.
• Provide clinical supervision to OTAs in accordance with state licensure standards.
• Monitor program effectiveness and contribute to development of new treatment programs.
