American Traveler is seeking an Occupational Therapist for an inpatient rehabilitation position at a teaching hospital. Requires 2+ years of inpatient OT experience, and a Massachusetts license if applicable, plus BLS certification.

The role involves day shifts in an inpatient rehab unit with 40 hours per week and travel availability. Responsibilities include direct patient care, collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, and development of care plans using various rehabilitation modalities.

Competenze

• Minimum 2 years of inpatient OT experience.
• OT licensure in Massachusetts if applicable.
• Active BLS certification required.
• Supervisory signed reference from within the past two years.
• Current occupational health documentation within 1 year.

Mansioni

Responsibilities

• Inpatient rehabilitation unit setting in a teaching hospital
• Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, 40hrs/week
• Weekend requirements TBD; holidays required if needed
• No on-call requirements
• Compact license not accepted
• Provide direct patient care including collaboration with interdisciplinary team members
• Participate in development of comprehensive patient plans of care
• Utilize rehabilitation equipment including splints, orthoses, prostheses, wheelchairs, and ADL equipment
• Apply therapeutic modalities as part of treatment plans
• Must work two required holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving through the following weekend, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the following weekend, and New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and the following weekend
• RTO requests limited to no more than 5 days and must be submitted prior to considerationTraveler must have their own vehicle
• First-time travelers may be considered
