American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an outpatient therapy position at a Critical Access Hospital in Alaska. Requires 1+ year experience, AK OT license, BLS/NBCOT certification, with pediatric experience preferred.

Day shifts with 5x8 or 4x10 hours, no weekends or on-call, and housing provided. Traveler-friendly, with housing allowances and reimbursements for travel and licensure.

Responsabilidades

• Critical Access Hospital setting covering Acute Care, Long Term Care, and Outpatient services.
• Treat outpatients, inpatients, and SNF patients of all ages and diagnoses, including wound care and pediatric specialties.
• Day shift schedule: 5x8 or 4x10 hours.
• No weekend or on-call requirements.
• May float to cover Outpatient, Acute Care, SNF, and nearby sister facilities.
• Epic EMR used for charting.
• Level IV Trauma designation.
• Provide occupational therapy services across outpatient, inpatient, SNF.
• Work with interdisciplinary therapy team addressing orthopedic, prosthetic/orthotic, rehabilitative needs.
• Housing provided during assignment.
• First-time travelers will be considered.
• Returning staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as travelers.
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility.
• RTO requests considered with commitment expected for 3 of 5 major holidays.

• 46 Acute Care beds and 22 Long Term Care beds
• Provide occupational therapy services across outpatient, inpatient, and SNF patient populations
• Work alongside an interdisciplinary therapy team addressing orthopedic, prosthetic/orthotic, and rehabilitative needs
• Scrub color is flexible or business casual attire accepted
• Facility provides housing during the assignment
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Returning former staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a travelers
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be considered
• RTO requests considered based upon request, with commitment expected for 3 of 5 major holidays
