Responsibilities

• Caseload distribution includes acute, outpatient, assisted living, swing bed.
• Day shift with 4x10-hour or 5x8-hour options.
• Supervised by OT Manager/Supervisor; Cerner EMR used.

Requirements

• Pediatric experience required
• Generalist evaluation and treatment skills across a broad range of patient diagnoses

Responsibilities

• Acute care hospital setting within the OT - Rehab Services department
• Covers inpatient, swing-bed, assisted living, and outpatient areas
• Patient mix includes general medical, CVA, hip fracture, post-op THR/TKR, adhesive capsulitis, tendon injuries, UE fractures, carpal/cubital tunnel, developmental delay, autism, sensory issues, and syndromes
• Pediatric patients treated in the outpatient setting
• Caseload distribution approximately 40% acute, 40% outpatient, 10% assisted living, 10% swing bed
• Day shift schedule with 4x10-hour or 5x8-hour shift options
• Patients scheduled by unit secretary based on clinical need
• Supported by 2 COTAs on staff
• Cerner EMR used
• No weekend or holiday requirements currently
• Cover a wide range of patient diagnoses as a generalist therapist
• Work under the supervision of the OT Manager/Supervisor
• Department-specific orientation provided
• Black scrubs or black collared shirt with khaki pants required for dress code
• Cancellation policy allows for 2 cancellations per 13-week assignment
