Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) in Lakota, ND to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. The NA will assist with daily living activities, document care, and work under the supervision of an RN.

The role requires CNA certification, a GED or high school diploma, and 3+ months in long-term care. Travel to nearby locations is required; premium and weekend/evening shift differentials apply. PRN schedule with a minimum of 30 hours per month.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified nursing assistant with State Board certification or in process within four months.
• Minimum 3 months experience in long-term care (6 months preferred).
• 18 years of age or older.
• Willingness to travel within 75 miles to support multiple locations.
• CPR certification and continuing education as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care under RN supervision.
• Assist with daily living activities and basic health care needs.
• Record vital signs and document resident interactions.
• Assist with meals, mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion activities.
• Ensure infection prevention practices and PPE usage.
