Job summary

Good Samaritan in Bottineau, ND is hiring a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. You will assist with daily living activities under RN supervision, monitor vital signs, and help with meals while maintaining infection control practices.

Requires CNA certification and 18+ years old; travel to support multiple locations within a 75-mile radius is required. Shift types vary; 30-hour minimum per month with at least one weekend shift monthly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• CNA certification required or in process within four months of start date; facility provides training.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and feeding as needed.
• Record vital signs and report changes to the charge nurse promptly.
• Support infection prevention, PPE usage, and participate in wellness activities.
