Job summary

Good Samaritan in Olathe, KS is hiring a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. The NA supports daily living activities, assists with meals and hygiene, and follows infection control policies under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Travel to nearby locations within a 75-mile radius may be required. Starting pay ranges from $17.00 to $25.50 per hour, with premium pay of $7/hour on all hours, plus $1.25/hour weekend and evening/night

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months experience in long-term care required (6 months preferred).
• Required CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing or in process of obtaining it within four months.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assist with meals, hygiene, mobility, and vital signs as per care plan.
• Document resident interactions and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
