Job summary

Good Samaritan in Brainerd, MN seeks a Nursing Assistant (PRN) to deliver resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. The NA will support daily living activities under RN supervision, following care plans and infection control policies.

Requirements include a CNA certification, HS diploma or GED, and a minimum of 18 years old. Travel to locations within a 75-mile radius and shift premiums apply. Scheduling includes at least one weekend shift monthly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Required CNA certification with state board or in process within four months.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance as per care plan.
• Record vital signs and assist with basic health care needs.
• Assist in transferring, repositioning, and mobility with proper techniques.
• Assist with meals, dining, hydration, and encourage participation in activities.
• Document care interactions and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
