Good Samaritan in Velva, ND, is seeking a Nursing Assistant (NA) to provide resident-centered care in a long-term care setting. The role requires assisting with daily living activities, basic health care tasks, and documenting care well under RN supervision.

The position supports infection prevention and uses PPE properly. It includes travel to support multiple locations within a 75-mile radius and maintenance of required certifications and continuing education credits.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant certification required or in process (within four months).
• Minimum age 18.
• 3 months LTC experience required (6 months preferred).
• Must maintain yearly continuing education credits (12 hours annually).
• State CNA certification with Board or Endorsement.

Responsabilités

• Provide resident-centered nursing care per care plan.
• Assist with daily living activities: bathing, meals, dressing.
• Record vital signs and communicate changes to RN.
• Support infection control and PPE protocols.
• Document resident interactions and participate in programs.
