Job summary

Good Samaritan in De Smet, SD is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for long-term care with local traveler duties. The role requires CNA certification either in hand or in process, and a minimum of 3 months experience in LTC. Schedule is PRN with travel to multiple nearby locations within a 75-mile radius.

Minimum 30 hours per month, one weekend shift per month. Premium pay applies for specific shifts and weekends.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required or in process within four months.
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Minimum 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing and feeding.
• Take and record vital signs and document resident information.
• Assist with transferring, repositioning, and range of motion exercises.
