American Traveler seeks a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a Magnet-designated, Level I trauma teaching hospital in Seattle, WA. CNMT-NMTCB certification and at least 1 year of experience are required.

Responsibilities include SPECT CT and DEXA, bone scans, brain and renal studies, and a range of nuclear medicine procedures. Epic EMR experience and GE equipment familiarity are preferred; day shift with rotating call is standard.

Responsabilidades

• Perform general nuclear medicine exams including SPECT CT and DEXA.
• Work with adult and pediatric patient population.
• Procedures include bone scans, 3-phase and whole body studies, renal, brain, HIDA, MUGA, lung, DEXA, and gastric emptying studies.
• Uses GE equipment and Epic EMR.
• Day shift 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, Monday-Friday; call required on every third weekend and holidays.

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a Magnet-designated, Level I trauma teaching hospital, requiring CNMT-NMTCB certification and 1+ years of experience.

Requirements

• Current WA RAD license required, if applicable
• BLS and CNMT-NMTCB certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred
• Skills in starting and maintaining IVs, isolation precautions/PPE, and storing/handling/disposal of radioactive materials
• Experience with captopril renal studies preferred

Responsibilities

• Nuclear Medicine department performing general nuclear medicine exams including SPECT CT and DEXA
• Adult and pediatric patient population
• Procedures include bone scans, 3-phase and whole body studies, nuclear cardiology, renal flow, brain scans, HIDA scans, MUGA scans, lung scans, DEXA scans, and gastric emptying studies
• Uses GE equipment
• Epic EMR experience required
• Day shift 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM, Monday-Friday
• Call required for every third weekend plus approximately 13 holiday call days per year
• No floating required
• Located within a Magnet-designated, teaching, Level I trauma hospital with 500 staffed beds
• Holiday shifts require call coverage for the entire day
• Scrubs may be any solid color, with light blue scrubs also provided on unit
• First-time travelers accepted
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate with no radius restriction
• Minimal RTO accommodated, and none permitted during the first two weeks of assignment
• Prior UW staff must have an 18-month separation before returning as a traveler
• COVID vaccination and booster required with no exceptions
