Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a Level 3 trauma regional hospital in Colorado. Requires 2+ years PET/CT/SPECT and IV experience, BLS, CNMT/ARRT(N) certification, and Epic charting. Travel with no on-call or weekend shifts, locals within 75 miles eligible for local pay.

Expect four 9-hour day shifts (Mon-Thu, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM) with potential staffing flex. Grey scrubs; facility training within first week included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of PET/CT, SPECT, and IV starts.
• BLS certification required.
• CNMT or ARRT(N) certification required; license required if applicable.
• ARRT(N), CNMT, NMTCB, and PET certifications preferred.
• Epic charting experience required.
• Experience with isolation precautions/PPE, IV starts and maintenance, and radioactive materials handling.
• Skilled in bone scans, SPECT, myocardial perfusion, renal studies, thyroid uptake scans, and tumor localization.

Responsibilities

• Performs PET/CT, SPECT, bone scans, myocardial perfusion, thyroid studies, HIDA scans, gastric emptying studies, and lung V/Q scans.
• Uses GE and Siemens equipment including EVO and SPECT systems.
• Charting performed in Epic.
• 4x9 hour day shifts, Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with possible flexing for critical staffing needs.
• No on-call, weekend, or floating requirements.
• First-time travelers will be considered if minimum experience requirements are met.
• Grey scrub color required.
• Candidates must reside within 75 miles of the facility to qualify for the local bill rate.
• Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract, with blackout periods restricting time off during select weeks.
• No blocked scheduling requests permitted.
• Candidates previously employed by UCHealth or its affiliates must disclose this information prior to consideration.
• Travelers who completed a full year on assignment at this facility may not be rebooked for at least one year.
• Completion of facility-specific training modules required within the first week of assignment.
