American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week acute care assignment in Terre Haute, Indiana, requiring CNMT or ARRT(N) certification and BLS.

Responsibilities include general Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT duties on a Cardiovascular Testing/Nuclear Medicine unit, with GE equipment including a Discovery IQ PET/CT scanner, SPECT Optima, and 2 Discovery Gamma cameras; Cerner EMR used; Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts (40 hours/week) with on-call rotation.

Qualifications

BLS certification is required.
CNMT or ARRT(N) certification is required.
ISDOH certification is required.
1 year Nuclear Medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Work in acute care Cardiovascular Testing/Nuclear Medicine unit.
Perform general Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures.
Operate GE Discovery IQ PET/CT, SPECT Optima, and 2 gamma cameras.

Job description

Requirements

BLS (AHA) certification required
CNMT or ARRT (N) certification required
ISDOH certification required
1 year of experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred
PET/CT registration and/or experience preferred
Y-90 Microsphere Therapy experience preferred
License required if applicable

Responsibilities

Acute care setting in the Cardiovascular Testing/Nuclear Medicine unit
General Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT duties
Uses GE equipment including a Discovery IQ PET/CT scanner, SPECT Optima scanner, and 2 Discovery Gamma cameras
Cerner EMR used
Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts, 40 hours per week with flexibility to meet department needs
On-call rotation required with 1-hour response time
On-call coverage hours are Monday-Friday 4pm-7pm and Saturday-Sunday 10am-2pm
No weekend or floating requirements
Responsibilities include general Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures
Orientation available weekly
Local candidates are not accepted
Candidates living 50-100 miles from the facility may be subject to reduced pay rate
