Job summary

IQVIA is seeking MedTech Field Service Technicians and Engineers to lead a team installing, updating, and servicing medical devices in hospitals across the United States. This 100% travel role requires local, regional, and national travel with a 40-hour week and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include on-site customer support, device installation and configuration, routine checks, and data documentation. Strong communication, troubleshooting, and driving are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent biomedical/technical field service experience (3–5 years).
• Strong computer skills with ability to troubleshoot project setup and issues remotely across multiple software programs.
• Professional business acumen and effective communication skills required.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
• Valid driver license and personal vehicle for local work.
• Able to sit/stand for long periods and lift up to 70 pounds.
• Able to clear hospital credentialing and immunization requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing communication and customer support to on-site hospital staff.
• Organize, test, and update medical devices, installing and configuring hardware, software, and network products.
• Conduct routine checks and record data from product tests after installation and configuration.
• Document and submit daily data with high-quality product support documentation.
• Travel locally, regionally, and nationally; 40+ hour weeks with overtime as needed.
• Assignment-based schedule with 40 hour commitment per week plus travel to support customers.
