Job summary

IQVIA MedTech seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, and update medical diagnostic equipment in hospitals nationwide, with extensive travel. You will support on-site staff, perform device tests, and ensure proper configuration of hardware, software, and network components.

The role requires a biomedical engineering background or technical schooling, 3–5+ years’ repair experience, and strong communication. Driving is a must, and immunization/credentialing may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or technical school in biomedical engineering.
• 3–5+ years’ experience in repair, maintenance, and installation of medical diagnostic equipment.
• Biomedical, hardware, electrical, mechanical and diagnostic repair experience.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing communication and customer support to on-site hospital staff.
• Organize, test, and update medical devices, installing and configuring hardware, software, and network products.
• Conduct routine checks and record data from product tests after installation and configuration.
• Document and submit daily data while maintaining high standards of product support quality documentation.
• Full-time commitment requires travel locally, regionally, and nationally.
