Job summary

Marathon Health is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team as a Float Medical Assistant supporting multiple locations within Indiana. The role combines clinical duties with front-desk responsibilities to deliver excellent patient care and a seamless guest experience.

You will travel as needed, cover shifts for teammates, and work closely with a primary care physician. Minimum 1 year MA experience, graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program, CPR/BLS, and preferred

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program.
• National or state MA certification preferred; required where regulations apply.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to rooms and ensure rooms are prepared.
• Take vitals, draw blood, give injections, and assist with procedures.
• Administer medications and immunizations per provider orders.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, referrals.
• Document in EHR and communicate lab results.
• Assist with outreach to engage patients.
• Maintain supplies and equipment.
