Job summary

Marathon Health seeks an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team as a Float MA. This role supports multiple locations within the state and region, requiring a flexible schedule and travel as needed.

You will work closely with a primary care physician to deliver high-quality patient care and ensure an exceptional guest experience. The position emphasizes versatility, performing clinical duties and front-desk tasks, and adapting to different clinics while maintaining consistent care

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Medical Assistant, preferably in Primary Care.
• National or state-specific MA certification or registration is strongly preferred. MA certification or registration is required for employment in States where certification/registration is required.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.
• Phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Escorts patients to room and ensures exam rooms are stocked.
• Take vitals, perform blood draws, injections, and assist with procedures.
• Front desk duties: scheduling, records requests, data entry and referrals.
• Process test results and provide timely updates to patients as directed by the Provider.
• Maintain supplies and equipment for treatments.
